Travel Award Winner announced
This
year’s travel award was won by Coral Hanson. Coral is an Exercise Instructor of
20 years experience, a BACPR Tutor and Course Director for the BACPR Exercise
Instructor Training. Having undertaken her PhD focused on Phase 4 CR, she is
currently employed as a Research Assistant at Edinburgh Napier University.
Coral's
work includes an exciting international collaboration between Napier, Flinders
University Adelaide and the University of Sydney examining the influences on
participation in exercise referral schemes.
The
BACPR Travel Award is enabling Coral to visit key collaborators in person as
well as attending the key Australian Cardiac Rehabilitation conferences to
share her work. We very much look forward to hearing how Coral gets on and
sharing more about her very valuable research work on her return.
Winner
of our special Australia Travel Award, Annie Holden is putting her plans in
place for her trip, which will be at the end of November 2017. Again, we can't
wait to hear more about Annie's plans and follow her travels when she sets off!
The
current BACPR Travel Award remains open for applications from members (of
over two continuous years) until 1st April 2018.
