2018 Travel Award winners
The 2018 BACPR travel awards have been won by Sarah Quinlan and Jessica Norman.
has worked in the field of Cardiac Rehabilitation for over 10 years. Initially
taking up a role of Phase 4 exercise instructor in Ceredigion West Wales prior
to moving to Bolton setting up and delivering their Phase 4 rehabilitation
programme. Sarah then worked as an Exercise Physiologist in the Cardiac
Rehabilitation Team at the Countess of Chester Hospital before re-training as
an Occupational Therapist.
Sarah told us 'I was absolutely thrilled to hear I had won the Travel Award and am very grateful to BACPR for this fantastic opportunity. I cannot wait to network with Cardiac Rehab Occupational Therapists in Canada'
worked for 5 years as an A&E staff nurse at Wrexham Maelor Hospital with a
particular interest in coronary care then started in Cardiac Rehabilitation
(Wrexham and Flintshire) in March 2016. She has qualified as a nurse prescriber
and is now working towards the completion of an MSc in Advanced Clinical
Practice. She has also undertaken fundraising running half marathons and
completing the three peaks challenge.
