RCUK Guidelines 2021: publication in May
RCUK Guidelines 2021 due for publication in May. Dear all, We are writing to let you know that Resuscitation Council UK’s 2021 Guidelines will be published in early May 2021. These revised Guidelines, written by leading experts in resuscitation, will provide up-to-date, evidence-based best practice for excellence in resuscitation. They cover all age groups and aim to give people their best chance of a successful outcome from cardiac arrest, as well as improve patient and family experience in conversations and decision making about care they would want at the end of life. The European Resuscitation Council (ERC) 2021 Guidelines remain due for publication on 25 March 2021 and we ask that you continue to follow the RCUK 2015 Guidelines until the release of the RCUK 2021 Guidelines. RCUK has opted to publish the UK Guidelines in May in reflection of the ongoing focus in the UK on the COVID-19 pandemic response and looks forward to sharing these revised Guidelines with you on their publication. Please let us know by sending an email to:publicaffairs@resus.org.uk if anyone else in your team would like to receive further information about RCUK Guidelines 2021 when they are published in May.
Kind regards, Sue
