Call for Abstracts
Conference abstracts are invited for submission no later than 23:59 on Friday 8th June 2018. We welcome all submissions relating to clinical practice, projects, and research within cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation.
Have you recently started or completed a Masters Degree or PhD? Are you working in a research post? Are you undertaking your first research project? If so, you may be eligible to submit your work under our ‘New Investigator in Scientific Research’ category. This category is open to novice researchers submitting work which shows clear evidence of originality, and sound scientific background and content.
The best abstracts submitted for oral presentation will be invited to present within the main programme, or as a moderated poster. Poster presentations will be featured in the exhibitor area. Prizes will be awarded for the ‘Best Oral Abstract’, ‘Best Moderated Poster’, and ‘New Investigator in Scientific Research’. All accepted abstracts will auotmatically be added to the Research Network area within the BACPR. Please see the submission form for more details.
Accepted posters should be produced in A1 portrait size for the study day (594mm x 841mm high or 23.4inchs wide by 33.1inchs high). If you have not received an email confirmation of receipt from BACPR within 10 working days of submission, please re-submit abstract or call 01252 854510.
All poster presenters need to register for the conference
If your abstract is accepted for oral or poster presentation you will be
eligible for a reduced conference registration fee £££
than two submissions per author; Encore abstracts are eligible for submission if the abstract was
previously presented at a conference no more than six months prior to the
submission deadline of 1st June 2018. These abstracts will be
presented as posters and are not eligible for the New Investigator in
Scientific Research award]
